It's early Monday morning, and thought I'd write our first blog post before heading off to bed.
We've both had long days, and just finished a long night of business talk...we're both exhausted. Lydia's had less sleep than me (although I've been working behind the computer the past 12 hours)...so I put my hand up to write our first blog :)
It's been an interesting month, we're busy setting up the business side of things for Lydia Denker Photography and I think both of our brains (mine & Lydia's) are officially mush hahaha. We're learning a lot about setting up a business, and it's a lot of hard work...
Lydia is an extremely determined, talented and creative lady, which I believe will be the driving force behind LDP. I'm inclined to be slightly workaholic, creative...geeky / nerdy web / graphic designer type, also working behind the scenes on the management side of the business alongside Lydia.
When we first discussed going into business...it seemed like such a good bad idea, that I couldn't resist ;) So here we are...
It is an exciting time for us both and I'm sure it will be an amazing journey as well. I feel extremely blessed to be able to do something I love, and also to have the opportunity to work with one of my favourite people on the planet. People who know me well, will know that my favourite people are those who inspire me and who heart bad ideas just as much as I do...
Both Lydia and I (Derryn), will be posting blogs as often as possible, and hopefully it won't get too confusing! For now, I need to attempt this sleep thing...until next time. Night night.
